COVID-19 Observed Testing

Summary

Included Health assisted The Home Depot with complying with Osha’s “vaccine or test-and-mask” policy — which required COVID-19 testing of unvaccinated employees — by providing THD employees with a remote, supervised (observed) testing process.

Goal

As the UX Writer, my goal was to partner with the design lead to design an online scheduling flow for The Home Depot employees. The flow needed to include calendar invites and appointment reminders via SMS.

Designs

The Home Depot received an email that redirected them to the following landing page:

Step 2: The user then proceeds to schedule their appointment using a calendar tool.

Step 3: The appointment is confirmed.

Step 1: After the user selects Schedule a Test (see screenshot above), they are asked to enter their personal information.

Results

82% success rate

Overall, 82% of employees who scheduled a COVID-19 test completed a successful experience. An employee was successful if they scheduled an appointment, completed the testing process, and received their results (positive, negative, or invalid) via email.

In addition, 68% of employees that scheduled a test opted in for SMS reminders. Of those who opted in, 95% completed a successful testing experience.
